Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE)
The Data Logger Wireless has support for Bluetooth®1 (BLE 4.2) which allows it to passively read data broadcast by nearby sensors. Connected GATT services can be supported on request.
Device support can easily be incorporated on request, contact us to discuss your requirements.
Supported Devices
The Data Logger Wireless decodes Ruuvi® data formats 3, 5, 6 and E1 from manufacturer-specific BLE advertisements, and tracks up to 8 sensors. See Data Logger Wireless for scan and reporting behaviour.
For BLE broadcast devices like the Ruuvi® devices and BLE tags, there's no pairing or configuration necessary, a nearby Data Logger Wireless device will continuously scan for nearby devices and collect & report their data acting as a gateway.

The Ruuvi®2 Air is a compact & accurate air quality and environment sensor and is perfect for monitoring a remote site or equipment placed anywhere in the world.

Gobius® tank sensors
Gobius C tank sensors are recognised from their BLE advertisements. Distance, temperature and sensor state are shown on the WiFi status page, and the raw advertisement is sent over Iridium for processing in the cloud.
