satlog.io Protocols & Connections
The Data Logger reads equipment over several physical interfaces and forwards the decoded values to the satlog.io cloud over Iridium. Each message is limited to 100 bytes, so values are sampled and batched at a configurable report interval instead of streamed.
| Interface | Connector | Protocols and equipment | Details |

Selecting hardware
- The Data Logger supports every wired interface above.
- The Data Logger Wireless is identical in hardware and adds Bluetooth Low Energy scanning.
- Without a Data Logger, the Modem can be driven by any host that speaks serial at 9600 baud.
Equipment or protocols that are not listed can be supported on request, contact us with your requirements.
